Hello everyone and welcome to my Blog!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scandinavia and Sweden in particular is one of my favorite travel destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I might feel this way because of the entirely different and more peaceful lifestyle of the country compared to Greece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

An invitation I received by the Story Hotel Riddargatan<\/a> was what led me to travel again for the first time after 18 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stockholm: a city with a long and interesting history. Despite being the largest city in Sweden, Stockholm exudes a calm atmosphere, combined with the wonderful Swedish architecture as well as its beautiful natural landscapes. <\/p>\n\n\n

Built on 14 islands, which are connected by 50 bridges, Stockholm is rightfully called the\"Venice of the North\"!<\/strong>. \u03a4\u03b1 \u03bd\u03b7\u03c3\u03b9\u03ac \u03b5\u03c0\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u03b9\u03bd\u03c9\u03bd\u03bf\u03cd\u03bd \u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03b1\u03be\u03cd \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5\u03c2 \u03bc\u03b5 50 \u03b3\u03ad\u03c6\u03c5\u03c1\u03b5\u03c2!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stockholm is one of the few cities that did not participate in the 2nd World War. Therefore, you can admire its magnificent buildings all over the city, especially in the old town, Gamla Stan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Stockholm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can travel there by airplane with a direct Ryanair<\/a> or Aegean<\/a> However, that\u2019s not possible every day. I took a flight with Ryanair from Thessaloniki, because the flight hours of Ryanair worked best for me, while the tickets were cheaper. So, before you book your tickets, make sure to check the departure and return days and hours to make sure! In order to get from the airport to the city center, a taxi can definitely take you there; however, the Flygbussarna<\/a> bus solution is undoubtedly the quickest and most economical one. I took the route to the city's main train station that lasted about 80 minutes. You should also keep in mind that Sweden has kroner instead of euros and the cost of living in general is quite expensive compared to Greece, where I come from. The bus route from the airport to the central station costed a total of 42 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
