Crystal Waters in Lefkada is undoubtedly one of my favorite summer destinations. I’ve visited it many times, but each time I discover something new and special…
Every time I visit Lefkada, I choose staying in Crystal Waters Hotel, which always complies with the hygiene rules, especially during this past Covid-19 year. Having it as my base, but also as a relaxing spot, I tour around the island, discovering its beauties.
Location
Crystal Waters Lefkada is located just 20 minutes away from the city of Lefkada and almost half an hour away from the airport.
Lefkada is the second island in Greece, where you can go by car. We left Kastoria, our hometown, in the morning with our own car and about 3,5 later we were already at the hotel pool. Crystal Waters is at the city of Nikiana, located in the east side of the island, with panoramic view of the sea. The hotel is 5 minutes away on foot from the nearest beach.
Accomodation
Crystal Waters offers double rooms, triple rooms and even suite apartments that make for a comfortable accommodation. Each room has an incredible sea view, thanks to its panoramic position, as well as a pool view; some rooms even have a private pool!
We stayed at a double floor suite with two rooms at the first floor. Each room has its own bathroom and balcony. At the ground floor there was a comfortable living room area, along with the kitchen. Apart from that, a small garden yard with access to one of the large hotel pools, the Pool Bar, as well as the Breakfast Room and the Restaurant graces the outside of the suite.
Pool – Pool Bar
To me, one of the highlights of the hotel was, undoubtedly, the pool or, in other words, the pools, given that there are two large ones, as well as a small one for kid, along with the Pool Bar. Given our hectic reality, we all could use some valuable days to rest. My accommodation at the hotel is always accompanied by some rest and relaxation; in fact, most of the time I choose staying at the hotel instead of going out, when in Lefkada. During your stay, you’ll realize in no time that the manager along with the entire staff pay severe attention the hygiene rules, especially during the hard times of the pandemic.
Breakfast – Restaurant
One of my favorite moments at every hotel is breakfast time and this specific hotel surpasses my expectations every time. The breakfast is tasty and rich, with a variety ideal to all tastes.
The Restaurant is equally excellent, with exquisite flavors worth tasting. It is also affordable, which is why I would definitely recommend it.
I was a visitor at the Crystal Waters Hotel both times I traveled to Lefkada. I’d like to sincerely thank the hotel manager as well as the staff for their hospitality.
